Event Details

You are invited to the first Business Breakfast for the new financial year, proudly hosted by the Goondiwindi Chamber of Commerce.

Join us at The Vic Hotel to enjoy a delicious hot breakfast and listen to our guest speakers, Ben Hughes and Rebecca Fing, as they address the hot topic of Employment and HR.

Attracting, training and retaining employees is a widespread concern for local businesses and other organisations across the Goondiwindi Region. We are in the enviable position of experiencing low unemployment rates and strong economic development in our region. However what would normally be positive aspects has created issues, highlighting the crucial need for more people to fill the job vacancies created by the success amongst our business community.

As local businesses thrive and expand, and with the arrival of major projects in the future we need to look for solutions to keep locals here and attract new residents to our local towns.
