Event Details Join the Goondiwindi Chamber of Commerce for our next Business Breakfast on Wednesday 29th of September at the Queensland Hotel.
We have invited Mayor Lawrence Springborg to address our event as a guest speaker. He will give an update on the Goondiwindi Regional Council and our region, and also welcomes your questions. Our other guest speaker is Justin Saunders, Executive Director of the Bigambul Native Title Aboriginal Corporation, BNTAC, who is keen to share plans of an initiative to benefit local businesses and the wider community.

Lawrence Springborg Mayor, Goondiwindi Regional Council at Goondiwindi Regional Council A local, born and bred, the Hon. Lawrence Springborg AM led the Queensland National Party from 2003 to 2006 and again in 2008, before becoming the first leader of the merged Liberal National Party from 2008 to 2009. He led the LNP again from 2015 to 2016 before announcing his retirement. He currently serves as Mayor of the Goondiwindi Regional Council, having been elected in March 2020.
Justin Saunders Executive Director of Bigambul Native Title Aboriginal Corporation Justin Saunders commenced his career in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health in the Government and Community Controlled health sectors. For the past 20 years, he has worked across various roles in leadership, executive health services management and development, strategy and policy, organisational capacity building, stakeholder management and project and programme management.
